Today, although not recognized as an official day by powers that be, is National Vodka Day. Nobody seems to know how today, October 4th here in the States, became the day to celebrate all things wonderful about Vodka, but after you have a few concoctions out of the myriad choices for cocktails that can be made from “The Water of Life”, you won’t care.
