There is nothing better than sitting around a campfire with family and friends. There is something about fire that can be very calming, in the right conditions of course. A backyard fire pit is a perfect gathering spot for BBQ’s, friends and of course BEER!

You can turn your backyard into the perfect place for outdoor entertaining with a bit of gusto and some patience. Fire pits will add a little ambiance to your evenings so you can cozy up and roast marshmallows with friends or family and they’re great for making smores, they also give you that great outdoors feeling in the comfort of your own backyard!

We spend our lives taking photographs hoping for a perfect shot of our children, friends, families or even animals and its a joyous occasion when it all comes together for something you can eventually blow up and hang proudly on the wall at home.

But what about photos that are taken at the wrong time?.

Some of these have made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. They are sad, hard to look at and some are just downright disturbing.

Two maintenance workers embracing each other on a wind turbine that caught on fire. Both lost their lives. This is such a powerful photo.
