I was sitting here doing some research on Phobias. There are literally thousands of them out there, and I mean thousands! Surely some are just made up by the one person that has that fear? Here are some of my favorites, from the most common, to the outright weird!
Arachnophobia – The fear of spiders and one of the most common phobias around. They don’t bother me at all, but throw a mouse or cockroach in front of me and I will scream like Ned Flanders.
Coulrophobia. The fear of clowns and one of my personal hates, they are all evil and look ready to start a murderous rampage at any given moment.
Eosophobia. The fear of Dusk and Dawn .. otherwise known as being a vampire….
Allodoxaphobia. The fear of opinions and something I fear all men are suffering, don’t suffer in silence, consult your doctor.
Alektorophobia. The fear of chickens .. delicious .. tasty .. BBQ chicken …great, now I’m hungry.
Achluophobia. Fear of darkness, and to be honest, I am not a fan, I dont like what I cant see!
Phasmophobia. Fear of ghosts. Now I AM FINE if Casper wants to stay in his own little world, its when he wants to start throwing stuff at you or pulling your hair in the middle of the night that I start to have a problem.
Ablutophobia. A Fear of WASHING … I have NO words for this one. someone please try to explain it to me.
Cenosillicaphobia. The fear of empty glasses. THIS is one I can totally relate too!!
Speaking of empty glasses, would you look at the time. Its Beer O’Clock!
