OK, so about a week ago Notta Punchingbag posted a new profile picture, and in this picture you can see the gorgeous color of her eyes.  She’s gorgeous all over, but in this particular picture her eyes particularly stand out and it brought to mind Shawn Phillips song “Steel Eyes” and I thought she would like it if she heard it, so I went and found it on YouTube, but it was a live version and I don’t like live versions so I deleted it within minutes of posting.  I then said I would post the studio version here on my blog the next day. Well guess what?  I lied.  LMAO  However! I am posting it now and I hope that anyone that listens to it will enjoy it, and Notta particularly.

Chris Is THE MAN!

Ninety-three 90 point and + 90 point rides makes Chris Shivers “THE MAN” most certainly when it comes to bullriding, and having met him four or five times since becoming a fan of the PBR almost ten years ago, I can say he is also a gentleman. He however I believe would kick your ass as soon as look at you if you betrayed the ethics that make him one of the greatest cowboys of all-time.

It saddens me to say that this is the last year anyone will have the opportunity to see him ride, as he has decided to step down while he can still walk.  As many wrecks as he’s been in that’s no small accomplishment.  The boys are on break right now and I’ve been missing them I guess or I wouldn’t be awake right now thinking of one of the greatest ever!  I love you Chris!  This one’s for you

John just got a Kinnard Orchestra Model guitar so what does Diane get?

(I love how it’s always something for us both when it’s a present for me….)

Petrified Cypress Wood Coffee Table / Accent Table. 

It is absolutely gorgeous in person and is in excellent condition. 

The gnarly twisted legs seem to be a rare find and the wood

is polished to a beautiful shine!

Extremely unique and is thought to be from the 1970’s.
