Well I figured someone would understand my innuendo. LOL Why am I not surprised it was you first?
I have nothing against Muslims. Just the ones that twist their beliefs to a point where they think it’s acceptable to murder in their faith and beat their women and children, or even put them to death. Unfortunately those ones make the other Muslim people looks pretty bad and make it near impossible to trust any of them. Which is unfortunate.
I don’t believe in any of that religious crap whatever the mystical magical being it might be anyway, but that’s just me and my opinion.
Obama IMO is one of the most hip Presidents I’ve seen America have, and doesn’t appear like a buffoon like his predecessors. I don’t follow American politics, hell I don’t even follow Canadian politics, so I can’t really judge him or his components. But from what I’ve seen in politics on both sides of the border, it seems that no matter who it is sitting at the head of the table, they eventually screw a lot of people over, and get in bed with the rich.

Will people please understand that in I slam if you father is a Muslim you ARE a muslim. In some countries denying the faith will get you imprisoned or even exicuted. You have to go through to courts to get permission to leave the religion and are more likely to be punished for heresy than allowed to quit praying 5 times a day. Of course, the chances are better to get out if you are female. To sum it up…In the eyes of a billion people Barak is Muslim!

Mohamed COMMANDED his followers to do those things you say some “twist” Islam to require. Urm, factually, Islam DOES require those things. Kill ‘em, enslave ‘em or convert ‘em: the ONLY ends Islam accepts in relationships between Muslims and the Dar al Harb–those who do not believe as Mohamed taught. One allowable exception–also taught and modeled by The Butcher of Medina (hence the name “Butcher of Medina” for the slaughter of the MALE Jews of the Banu Quarash tribe–the women were raped and enslaved–after he suckered ‘em into a truce meeting with lies) is the practice of “al taqiyya” or lying to, deceiving unbelievers. This is but ONE of the reasons that so-called “peaceful Muslims” MUST always be looked at askance: they’re either living a life of lies or are themselves apostates.
Read the Koran (although a Muslim will tell you it’s not the Koran unless it’s in the 6th century Arabic it was written in. Because “Allah” isn’t powerful enough to protect the transmission of “his” text in translation? Yeh. Pagan moon gods are like that). Pay special attention to the principle of abrogation–stated by The Butcher of Medina himself, in order to explain away the contradictions between his “peaceful” lies in the Meccan verses and his hate-filled, violent lies in the Medinan verses. It’s made a bit more difficult by the often achronological ordering of verses, but some companion scholarly works (by Muslim apologists) can clear that right up.
So, disagreeing with your assessment, Macbros: Islam is, in and of itself, nothing more or less than a hate cult. Period.
Wow! LOL – I don’t follow ANY religion so I couldn’t give a rats ass either way. But if what you say is true – then WOW! (But I always hear other shit that there are two sides of the fence with them anyway) Just like a few Christian people I know. They’ll lie cheat and back stab you and then when they’re confronted about it, they’ll put the Christianity card and swear that it’s all against their beliefs to do such things they are accused of. That’s what I call Convenient Christianity. It only works when it gets them out of shit.
Buuuut like I said. To each their own. The whole thing is a pile a rotten bullshit IMO. Believe in what you will, just keep me the hell out of it. And I use the word “hell” figuratively, not because I believe in it.

I do enjoy the multi-culti apologists for Islam who try the moral equivalency argument citing the Inquisition, et al as evidence that Christians are no different to Muslims in having dirty linen in their background, but…
Mass murder, slavery, brigandage, torture, mutilation and more when practiced by people claiming to be Christians is always in direct contradiction to the life and teachings of the founder of that religion. IOW, those engaging in such practices claiming to do it to further the cause of Christ are liars, in contradiction to both the life and teachings of Christ. OTOH, Muslims who engage in those practices on a quotidian basis claiming to do so to further Islam are doing EXACTLY what Mohamed told them to do, and following his life example.
I’ve read the foundational documents–most in translation–of all the major religions of the world, and I can honestly say that there is no major religion in the world as hate-filled and violent as Islam, based on what is REQUIRED of Muslims to BE Muslims. (Yeh, I’m kind of a geek on the subject of world religions. Western philosophers, too; Eastern to a much, much lesser degree. *heh* Mainly Sun Tsu there. *shrugs* It’s a curse I’m not unhappy to bear.
