By then, this will be in the past and I’ll get something else.
John just got a Kinnard Orchestra Model guitar so what does Diane get?
(I love how it’s always something for us both when it’s a present for me….)
Petrified Cypress Wood Coffee Table / Accent Table.
It is absolutely gorgeous in person and is in excellent condition.
The gnarly twisted legs seem to be a rare find and the wood
is polished to a beautiful shine!
Extremely unique and is thought to be from the 1970’s.

You have to love eBay!

Awhile back I lived beside a guy who made them in his basement. He would have about 2 inches of that acrylic resin (or whatever it was) all over it. It was like a piece of drift wood uncased in glass.
He would find large pieces of drift wood on a beach or whatever, maybe a cut up log, pretty much anything, and sell it for $500 – $1000 after he was finished. Sometimes it took MONTHS n’ Months for end result.
Anyway HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! (in 7 months!)
This isn’t wood though Mac. It’s PETRIFIED wood. Meaning thousands of years old, turned to stone. But I know what you’re talking about, and those things are nice as well.
“Honey, I wanna big rock for my anniversary.”
“Sure thang. Here ya go.”
*heh*
Nice rock.
I love it!
